BRIDGE Training

In August, OSBM will be providing training to introduce users to the BRIDGE platform and the Base Budget Creation and Adjustment process. Users will be able to choose from among multiple sessions and virtual or in-person options.

Who Needs Training?

Current users of IBIS, the state’s existing budget management system, will be required to attend Phase I training.

There may be circumstances where participation in the training is not feasible. Agency or university CFOs may request a waiver for individual employees for situations in which a user cannot participate in or complete the mandatory BRIDGE training. Please review the Waiver Form for more details. Only a CFO may make training waiver requests.

How Do I Sign Up for Training?

Registration is through the NC Learning Center, which is the state Learning Management System (LMS).

Once logged into the Learning Center, users can search for the course title and register. See our quick guide to finding and registering.

For state budget staff who do not use the NC Learning Center, such as university budget staff, OSBM can assist providing credentials to users required to take training.
