OSBM offers an annual Performance Management Academy training series for state employees. The program helps agencies’ performance management practitioners improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NC government programs by providing:
- Frameworks for assessment and use of existing evidence to create, evaluate, and improve policies and programs.
- Guidance on using strategic planning to better support the delivery of services to meet organizational goals and the needs of customers / service users.
- Resources, best practices, and examples of successful performance management.
Performance Management Academy 2024 Dates
The Performance Management Academy for 2024 will be held on the following dates:
- October 29
- October 31
- November 7
- November 14
- November 19
- November 21
Sessions will be held in-person from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Department of Revenue Training Center in Raleigh. The registration fee is $100 per participant and will cover lunch and materials.
Interested state employees should complete the PMA Interest Questionnaire by September 3.
Who should participate in the Performance Management Academy?
Ideal candidates for the PMA are state employees who manage contracts and programs; design or evaluate programs; develop and implement policies; or anyone who is looking to sharpen their skills in program planning, design, monitoring, and evaluation.
If you have participated in a prior Performance Management Academy, you aren't eligible to participate again.
