OSBM encourages agencies to support budget requests with strong evidence and evaluation plans. This training will help state employees who participate in the change budget process, including IT and programmatic personnel, present stronger budget requests.

The training will cover:

where to find program evidence,
how to make a strong case for your budget request using evidence,
and how to access additional resources including program evaluation support.

We encourage any state employees interested in program and policy evaluation to register. Alternative dates are available on January 25 (in-person) or January 31 (in-person or virtual). We recommend registering for an in-person session to gain the most benefit from the training. In person trainings will be held in downtown Raleigh.
