The OSBM Central Office of Internal Audit will host Operational Audits and Report Writing, a 2-day in person training opportunity for internal auditors on June 12th- June 13th, 2024 at 8:30 am, for 16-CPEs .
There will be a fee of $85 for each person attending to offset the cost of provided lunch an speaker fees. All payments can be sent from your agency directly to OSBM. Please register no later than 5 p.m. on Friday April 19th. Once you have registered you will be sent an invoice.
About the training
- This course will help auditors understand, design, and perform operational and performance audits that concentrate efforts on future rather than past events.
- Participants will discuss the need to assess control systems to manage key business risks and evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participants will also be able team with management to develop solutions to audit concerns that meet business needs and mitigate control weaknesses.
- Participants will learn the elements of an audit observation and how to start the audit while thinking about the result, the audit report.
- Participants will be able to write timely, accurate, clear, complete, concise, constructive, and objective audit findings.
