Please join OSBM for a training for university system budget staff. We will be covering the basics of the appropriations process. We will discuss how to read and interpret an Appropriations Act, including how an Appropriations Act becomes the budget, what happens when the bill text and conference report conflict, and other related topics.

This is part of a topical training series for state budget staff. UNC trainings will occur on the first Friday of each month at 1 p.m. Sessions will be 60-90 minutes in length, depending on the topic, and will provide technical training related to critical budget knowledge and processes.
