SUBJECT: Increase to the Cost of a State Capital Project

Pursuant to G.S. 143C-8-8, a State Agency may increase the cost of a capital project with gifts, federal or private grants, special fund receipts, or direct capital improvement appropriations if the increase is in the best interest of the State. The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is increasing their Helene Recovery capital project fund by $898,100 to $3,437,851. The source of funds are Federal Emergency Management Agency reimbursements through the Department of Public Safety.
