Current Openings
State Budget Management Analyst I, Budget Execution
As an Analyst, you will:
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to agencies in carrying out their delegated responsibilities related to budget management.
- Monitor and evaluate budget adjustment requests within the framework of the State Budget Act, relevant state and federal legislation, and rules and policies.
- Oversee agency budgets and expenditures to ensure a balanced budget.
- Analyze expenditures and revenues and propose solutions to structural budget shortfalls to ensure that the Governor’s Recommended Base Budget is an accurate plan for the upcoming biennium.
- Demonstrate curiosity and the ability to think critically to make connections that others miss and to use this skill to assist leadership, staff, and agencies to identify and solve problems
