The new Trump administration has shaken up Washington since its arrival. Join the Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Legislative and Public Policy team (The IIA’s federal lobby team) to understand how the Trump administration has tackled its policy priorities including taxes, Dodd-Frank, and health care reform with and without the help of Congress. Additionally, with the mid-term elections on the horizon and a potential change of party control at stake, Arnold & Porter will forecast the 2018 policy priorities for Capitol Hill and the Executive Branch as well as the political dynamics at play to give internal auditors a better sense of what (not) to expect.

Kevin O'Neill, co-chair of the Legislative practice group, helps clients understand and navigate federal legislative and executive complexities in order to further their business objectives. His clients include domestic and foreign corporations, associations, municipal governments, transportation agencies, healthcare systems, universities and foreign sovereigns. In the tax and financial services sector, Mr. O'Neill has helped companies and associations develop long-term campaigns to advocate for specific policies in comprehensive tax reform legislation and the Dodd-Frank Act. He has also advocated before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on behalf of companies and associations affected by rulemakings before that agency.
