IT Change Management

As technology advances and organizations move from manual to automated and digital processes and cloud applications, the number of processes subject to change management will only increase. In addition, the need for these systems to function properly and with appropriate and effective controls will be of utmost importance. 
This webinar examines IT Change Management based on the revised Global Technology Audit Guide published by The Institute of Internal Auditors. It will address risks and opportunities such as patch risks, third-party and compliance risks, as well as the elements of change management, effective change management, and internal audit’s role.

Learning Objectives

Scott MooreScott Moore (MBA, GSLC, CIA, CISA, CRISC)
Internal Audit Group Manager, Devon Energy

Scott Moore (MBA, GSLC, CIA, CISA, CRISC) has been with Devon Energy in Oklahoma City for eight years and currently manages the Internal Audit group. In this role, he oversees the financial, compliance, project management and IT audits conducted at the company, as well as the enterprise risk management process. Previous to this role, Scott also led the Information Risk team within Devon’s Information Security group where he facilitated the company’s vulnerability and third-party risk management functions. Before starting with Devon, Scott worked for EY for four years where he specialized in IT audit and risk engagements for companies in industries such as energy, retail, financial services and banking. Scott also serves on the IIA’s IT Guidance Committee which is responsible for updating and issuing global IT audit guidance. He is also audit committee chair for the Daily Living Centers, a non-profit based in Oklahoma City.
