Community of Practice (CoP)

What is a Community of Practice?

Etienne Wenger-Trayner, the creator of Communities of Practice (COP) define them as "groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly."

What is the NC Strategic Planning CoP?

OSBM will host a strategic planning community of practice (CoP).  The CoP will be a group of agency representatives focused on strategic planning and who come together, both online and in-person, to share experiences and develop strategic planning knowledge.  The CoP is designed to meet the needs of the members and will develop meeting times, frequency, and agendas based on group feedback; meetings may be monthly during peak strategic planning times but only quarterly or as-needed the rest of the biennium.

Who is in the CoP?

Members will be determined. If you are interested in participating in the Community of Practice, please sign up here.
