NC Evaluation Fund Grants: Anca Grozav from the Office of State Budget and Management announced the new NC Evaluation Fund, which will provide grants to state agencies to support research projects that inform policy and program decisions. Applicants have access to technical assistance to develop their application and find a research partner. North Carolina state government agencies can apply. Higher education institutions are not eligible to apply directly, but they can be—and are encouraged to be—research partners with an agency applicant. For examples of some types of projects that could be a good fit for this opportunity, see projectportal.nc.gov. OSBM expects to award 5-10 grants over the next six months, totaling up to $1 million. The Many Roles of Philanthropy in Government-Philanthropy Partnerships
